Why Bestcare shows its status everywhere

Bestcare’s registration application is in progress. The website deliberately repeats that status because participants should not have to infer whether a provider is registered from branding, NDIS language or service-page design.

What registration means

A registered provider has applied, been audited against the relevant NDIS Practice Standards, undergone suitability assessment and been issued a registration certificate by the NDIS Commission.

What if I am NDIA-managed?

NDIA-managed NDIS-funded supports generally need to be delivered by a registered provider. Bestcare should not be assumed available for NDIA-managed supports while registration remains in progress unless lawful provider status and claiming arrangements are confirmed.

What if I am self- or plan-managed?

You can generally choose unregistered providers for supports that do not separately require mandatory registration. That does not automatically make a support available from Bestcare; capability, legal requirements, funding, risk and service arrangements still need to be confirmed.

SIL rule: From 1 July 2026, SIL providers must be registered, subject to the Commission’s transition pathways. Bestcare’s registration application being in progress is not presented as SIL approval or authority to commence SIL.
